August Fund Raiser
8/23, 8/24, 8/25, 8/26 Sign up here
Location: Atlanta Expo Centers South
Notes: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
We need your help to have enough folks to do the job from 6:00am until 2:00pm each day.
GARS and Gwinnett ARES provide parking fee collection at the parking lot entrance and parking lot supervision for the Cherokee Rose Cluster Dog Show.
There is usually a donation for these services, and this is shared between GARS and Gwinnett ARES.
This project isn’t for everyone, but if you like to spend mornings with some of your fellow amateur radio friends, you like the
outdoors, and look forward to telling a tall tale or two and at the same time help fund some of our projects, then “COME ON DOWN”.
You will be out in the weather, so dress appropriately. Since you’ll likely be standing, good foot wear is important.
Bring a folding chair in the slight chance you may be able to sit for a few moments.
If you’re there early, a small flashlight might help (more for being seen than seeing). Rain Gear as appropriate.
We’ll have water on site and there is a snack bar on site.
If you have a 2 mtr hand held, bring it and a spare battery, but it’s not a show stopper.
