2020 marks 60 years of the Georgia QSO Party ( http://georgiaqsoparty.org/ ) ! Come out and have some fun operating with us.

Please join us for a dutch breakfast at the Golden Corral (2155 Riverside Parkway Lawrenceville, GA 30045) ( https://www.goldencorral.com/locations/847/golden-corral-riverside-parkway/ ) starting at 7:30 am on Saturday, or plan to meet us at *TBD* anytime after 9:30 am on Saturday.

*Saturday* : We will setup the antennas and equipment and provide some lunch, and be ready to begin operating at 2:00 pm (that’s the official start time for the GQP on Saturday). We plan to have four stations (2 – CW, 2 – SSB) on the air operating while we are there during the QSO Party. We will provide some dinner Saturday evening around 6:00 pm, and break for the night by 9:00 pm.

*Sunday* : We will come back starting at 9:30 am and be ready to begin operating at 10:00 am (that’s the official start time for the GQP on Sunday). We will provide some lunch and continue to operate until around 4:00 pm. Then, we will take down the antennas and pack up the equipment.

*RECOMMENDED PREPARATION:*
* Try the free online practice exams – Google search “ham practice exam”.  Use more than one website.
* If you are unlicensed and don’t feel comfortable putting your SSN on the 605 form, get an FCC Registration Number (FRN) – Google search “get frn number”.
* Save time at the exam session by filling out, printing out, and bringing the NCVEC 605 form to the exam session. ( http://www.ncvec.org/downloads/2017NCVEC605.pdf )

*WHAT TO BRING:*
* Bring a Photo ID. (Driver’s license, Passport, etc.)
* Bring your Social Security card unless you already have an FRN.
* Minors without a Photo ID must bring their SS Card and Birth Certificate.
* Bring your original license and two (2) copies.
* Bring your original CSCE and two (2) copies for any outstanding elements passed.
* Bring a pen and a pencil with eraser.
* Calculators with memory must be cleared.  CELL PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED.
* Current Exam Fee is $14.00. Cash only. CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
* Walk-ins are welcome. No pre-registration required.
